The 4th of July @ Granny Suzie!

Hey everyone!!! Just updating our blog.  We spent the forth of July up at Rich's Granny's place in Holden, UT. It was also Clara Ann's first roadtrip!!! Along the way we went to visit my cousin Jonique, Jacob and there little girl Xelly! Rich, Clara and I loved being able to see them even if it was only for a little while! Joni if you read this thanks for letting us stop by and seeing you guys!! P.S. We need to take a few picture of Clara and Xelly together!! Then when we arrived at granny's Clara was surrounded by many people and lots of love!!! On our way home we got to see one of our good friend Analise!!!! The Story of Clara Ann's Birth

Hey everyone!! Well its been a very busy busy time for Rich and I.  If you didn't know, Little Miss Clara is now the biggest part of Rich and my life!  Well if your reading this, it must mean you want to know the story of Clara Ann's birth. It starts with me being a day over due and waking up at 2 a.m. having the worst leg craps. When ever I had really bad craps I usually take a warm to hot bath and thats what I did.  Around 2:30 I got what I thought was a pregnancy pain, but when I got another shock of craps I knew they were contractions, but I was thinking it was just false labor with my luck. I got out of the tub I got back into bed and told Rich that I had 2 contractions while I was in the tub. He was so excited to hear that I might be in labor, who knew that those painful craps could be so exciting for a man. Rich told me to tell him when the next when came, and I told him ten minutes later that I was having another one.  Rich was so excited he couldn't go back to sleep and I kept getting contractions so I couldn't sleep.  At 5 a.m. my contractions were every 15, 10, 5, and 3 minutes apart. By 5:30 Rich said we had to go to the hospital, me on the other hand wanted to wait, but Rich was worried and excited to know that we were more then likely going to have Clara that day.  Well Rich called his sister and mom and we all drove to the hospital and by 7:30 they set us up in a labor and delivery room. At 9 they put patosan in me and put it to a 2 to a 3. About noon they finally gave me an epidural!  I was sooooo excited about not being in any more pain for the labor, all I kept saying was how wonderful the epidural is! I don't think I could have survived the delivery without it. When the doctor came in at 2 to check how far a long I was, we were all disappointed to find out I was only four cm dilated.  Thats when they upped the patosan 5 to a 9. At 3 the doctor came back in to break my water. While we were waiting for me to get more dilated we watched "The best of Will Ferrell SNL" and my parent came and surprised Rich and I by coming to the hospital! We couldn't believe how my parents were there and waiting to see there new granddaughter!! By 5 the nurse came in and said I was 9 cm dilated! I could feel the presher of Clara coming! By 6 I was pushing! Rich said he would never watch Clara coming out but he was right there helping holding my leg and helping me out, and at 7:04 Clara Ann Wilson was born!! Rich and I were both crying tears of joy!  There are no words that can express how amazing it is to hold your baby for the first time. I now truly believe in love at first site because both Rich and I's heart belong to her. We are pour college students but we feel like the rich's people in the world because of the blessing of the little soul that heavenly father has blessed us with! Well that is the story of Clara Ann's birth, and I am sure there will be many more stories of our new little family to come! P.S. New picture of Clara are down below

Hurry Up Father Time, I want to hold my little girl!!

Hey everyone, so I am 38 weeks and 4 days! Its been a great adventure being pregnant and all, but now its time for this adventure to end.  The one thing I am trying to decide to do now is how I am going to spend the rest of this week and the next until my due date. Any ideas??
Well Rich's birthday is this Saturday!!!  And the way were going to celebrate his birthday is going to see "Thor" and going out to eat!  Yes its not much but Rich and I think that for both our birthdays the biggest gift were getting is Clara Ann, I mean how much bigger could a gift get then a newborn baby? Well just wanted to update the blog since its been a little while since I last updated it. But I will take lots of pictures of Rich's birthday and post them up!

Just Waiting For Our Bundle of Joy...

Hey everyone! Just wanting to update our blog..
So Rich is finally finish with this semester of school and he is so excited for a break!! As you can see he is already taking an advantage of it! lol  

So I get a week of Rich not stressing about papers and trying to impress his teachers, which will be very, very nice ;-) 

   Well as time gets closer for little miss Clara's arrival, I have been trying to find things to keep my mind busy. I know there is the general things like cleaning and taking naps. Also doing her baby book or scrap booking, but any time I do baby anything I just think of her coming even more...I guess I am a just an impatient person. What should I do??

   Its official....I have lost my feet! Just kidding but I really cant see my feet anymore when I stand, which is kinda dangerous considering I cant see what my feet are going to step on.... Just the other day I tripped over the laundry basket because my big belly hid it from my view... sneaky belly...

   Well there is one thing that kept me busy for an hour or two.. Getting Clara's space ready! It was really quick considering we don't have much space to put her stuff up. We got creative and now have Clara's wall!!

So cute isn't? Rich got even more excited about Clara when we set up Clara's Wall. We so are ready for Clara to come but Clara isn't ready for her big day just yet. Oh by the way 34 weeks right here!! lol so I have a little more then a month, give or take until she is here!! 

  Well thats all for right now, until we have something more to write about! 

Weird Toys... How do people even come up with this stuff?

So I was looking online for toys that Clara could play with, and I came upon all these weird toys, I don't think I would ever get this for Clara... What or who would play with these toys? How and were do people get these idea's for toys?? Whats the weirdest toys you have seen??

Updating on life

Hey everyone! Well I just wanted to update everyone on life at the Wilson home. Rich and I are busy as ever trying to get ready for Clara and what not.  Well first off just wanted to thank everyone who came to the baby shower!!! It was super fun to see everyone, and it was great catching up on everyones life. And a even bigger thank you for everyone who were able to give Clara a little gift!! It really helped Rich and I out! We were able to get all the major things for Clara because of the baby shower. Pictures will come of what we were able to get. 
Well on other notes Rich is loving school and putting his head in his books and also into his acting. He is really being challenged for his roles in his acting class, so much that he has grown a little whiskers and brings a cane every where to walk like a crippling old man. Rich says that he gets inspiration for a crippling old man from the show "house" lol. I went to one of his practices and he has improved quite a bit on his acting, and its so fun to see him go after his dreams. 
Talking about school and what not we have some news, we will be staying in Idaho for a year! Yay for no moving! The reason staying in Rexburg longer then we were expected is because BYU Provo is just not ready for this Wilson family lol. Just kidding but Rich did try to transfer to Provo and it just didn't accept him this time around, maybe the next time. The upside of this whole thing is at least Rich, Clara and I will be able to set some roots here in Rexburg and really get to know people her better. I am also happy that i wont have to pack boxes for a year!! lol

A New Home and Starting All Over

Hey everyone!! Lots has happened since we last posted anything.  Well first off I just have to say we are all settled  in to are new apartment!! Our new apartment is a little bit smaller then our last one but we are so happy with it!  The only down side is that we won't have a nursery for little Clara here in Rexburg because there is no room.  So Rich and I have decided when we move to Provo in August or September that we will at least have a three bedroom apartment.  Here is a couple of pictures showing you our wonderful little apartment.

The next thing that is happening in our life is getting ready for little Clara Ann.  Thanks to my mom, Rich and I have a good start on clothes for Clara!  We have a closet just for her and its filled with 0-12 months of clothes.  We of course need to start getting other things, like more diapers, more 0-12 months clothes, bows, stroller, car seat ect. ect.  I am hoping that the baby shower will help us out, so if anyone knows were we could find some good deals or anything free so we can put it in the Clara Ann Foundation we would appreciate it! Oh also does anyone know what is the best thing to put on a registry and what I should just get my self? I am registered at Walmart and Target just so everyone knows lol  Other good news, I might leave Rich for a week and come down to AZ for the baby shower in March, but were still talking about it.  The one thing that Rich and I are doing for sure is coming down to AZ in June or July and getting Clara blessed!!  We would love to have her be surround by love ones when she is getting blessed.  We wouldn't mind doing the baby blessing in Rexburg but we have the opportunity to have her blessed in Arizona.  The other reason we want to come down in June or July is to show off little Clara Ann lol.  So excited to meet our bundle of joy!!  It was funny just the other day Rich looked at me and said, " Clara is going to be here really soon..."  I said back to him, " and when did you discover this?"   he said, " its just dawning on me, and I just realized she is going to be here in the next three months."  lol oh Rich, I don't think it will really hit him that he is going to be a dad until Clara is born, but thats ok, I just know he will love her the moment he meets Clara!

17 Weeks

Well on other things that are happening in Rich and I life is realizing that Rexburg is one of the smallest towns we have ever been in lol. There is only very few things to do here, and so that means being creative and learning to cooking, taking walks, crafts, so on and so forth.  If anyone knows what to do when there isn't really a whole lot to do either please do tell me!! Oh and just to let everyone know we don't have a t.v. so that means being even more creative lol.  Its definitely has been an adventure living in Rexburg and we LOVE it!!  Its so fun being able to start our own traditions and not being influenced by anyone if we don't want to be. Not that we don't love to hear about other peoples traditions because it gives Rich and I ideas of our own. If you have any traditions that you think Rich and I should try let us know!!  One of the traditions Rich and I are starting to do is going on a date at least once every two weeks. Its really is a great being away and starting a new life with my best friend and I am so grateful that my family is only a phone call away. I am soo ever grateful for all our many blessings and hope that everyone is doing fantastic!! And we will update the blog as soon as we have something to update about!!
